Will row the Atlantic Leg and become the youngest Canadian woman to row an ocean.

 

About Alicia:

 

Final year masters student studying physiotherapy. Will graduate next March and currently living all over the south east of the country on placement. She has lived abroad for much of her life and is interested in travelling and experiencing all the world has to offer. She can speak French and some Hindi. Most of her family live in Canada.

 

She swims, scuba dives and has played hockey at a fairly high level.

 

Her degree in sport science degree will bring a great deal of experience to the project and she will be a qualified physio by the time of departure. Alicia is the least experienced rower in the rowing team but showed outstanding teamwork qualities at the selection weekend.

 

Alicia said: “I feel I need something to challenge me, and to do something different and meaningful. I will give my absolute all to this opportunity as I do with everything in my life!!”
