Will row all three legs and become the first Australian to row the World.
About Me:
Operate my own business in property management and maintenance specialising in rural farm work.
My first thoughts of playing in the ocean are when I was 4 on the Gold Coast paddling my surf ski’s with my brothers. I clearly remember at the age of 6 paddling the family 12 foot boat a few kilometres up Currumbin Creek on my own. This is when I fell in love with rowing. Later in life I joined the school rowing team and then a club team competitively rowing for 12 years representing at state, national and international (Trans-Tasman).
Future aspirations: Owing my own rural property of 3000 acres or more grazing cattle, breeding horses and dogs, while visiting and exploring remote parts of the world.
Future expeditions: Paddle a kayak across the Tasman from Australia to New Zealand.
Being on the ocean in a kayak or in a small boat makes me appreciate things that we all take for granted. The power of nature and the ocean, or the fact of being placed back in the food chain or being placed outside our comfort zones.
My passion is working and playing in the great outdoors of the world.
Experience & Achievements:
"Each day that approaches brings new opportunities and new beginnings. Get out and enjoy yourself in this wonderful world".
